Bob Bernhard founded Rainier Glass as a family business in 1969 on Bainbridge Island
After working in these cramped quarters for a year, the business moved to downtown Winslow, and incorporated as Olympic Glass Inc. In 1976 the business expanded to Olympic Glass & Ski Shop Inc. In 1980 the sporting  division was sold. After 18 years of solid growth the decision was made to build on the current Sportsman Club Road location.
In 1997 Bob retired.  He passed the torch, and sold to his longtime employee,
Ed Lofgren.
Olympic Glass Inc., began as a locally owned family business. The tradition continues.
